Miami is a partnership that has grown over time. Initially a SEO and marketing services engagement, the Canes enlisted WMT to build a custom website, guided purchase experience, mobile app, donor website and OTT app.

The Miami Hurricanes wanted to take a bold new approach to their web platform, focusing on story-telling around their student-athletes and rich history as one of the iconic brands in college athletics.
With the University of Miami competing for eyeballs in a major market, different from many of its college athletics counterparts, Miami's approach gave WMT the opportunity to develop a 1-of-1 look and feel to grab the attention of its users and keep them on platform.
WMT partnered with the University of Miami Athletic Department to help build a responsive website compatible with mobile that would help boost engagement, and provide an accessible and appealing platform for potential Miami football recruits, student-athletes, and fans alike.
As a result, miamihurricanes.com garnered a nearly 167% increase in pageviews, a 159% increase in pages per session, and reduced bounce rate of almost 94%, (the year prior to our website revamp, Miami Hurricanes saw the bounce rate at 60% as opposed to 3% with the new site).
Mobile App Design
After an initial launch of the Miami Hurricanes mobile app in 2020, WMT revamped the app in 2023 with a focus on user customization, data collection, and fan gameday utilization.
