Insights Team Delivers Revenue Reports Straight to AD’s Inbox

Oregon recently completed its football ticket renewal process and leaned heavily on their WMT-built dashboards to monitor progress.
- Year over Year comparisons by revenue and tickets sold based on days out from deadline
- Monitored a whopping 17 ticket types and their respective performance

The Renewal insights were an addition to the dashboards used during the season to track ticket sales with granular breakdowns of ticket types (new or renewed season tickets, mini plans, group sales, student tickets, and single game sales) by the number of tickets sold, as well as the revenue generated with and without fees.
New Leads: Customer data from online merchandise buyers, Fanatics, were brought into the data environment and matched with Ticketmaster records where applicable.

- Identify existing ticket buyers who have high spend on merch, to justify upgrade or donation opportunity
- Uncover fans in counties adjacent to road game locations to become donor prospects
What’s Next: The next departmental area of focus will be the business office where financial data from central campus’ Banner platform will be transformed into sport-specific budget analysis tools.
